BMW Motorrad Mileage Scraper

Overview

Every year, BMW Motorrad Japan runs a mileage rally. By clocking up and registering miles with a dealer, participants can earn prizes.

Secondarily, participants can check in to Spots and collect Stamps. As of 2026, collecting Stamps does not earn any prizes.

Spots are comprised of Official Spots, created by BMW dealers, and Community Spots which are submitted by rally participants.

Scraping Spots

This program scrapes the official rally website for both Official and Community Spots and saves them as either a CSV file or a GPX file.

This allows importing the Spots as Waypoints in your satellite navigation system. This program is primarily designed for use with OsmAnd and its Web interface.

Export BMW Motorrad Mileage Rally spots to GPX.

  --password PASSWORD
  --session-path SESSION_PATH
                        path to the cached Mozilla/Netscape cookie file

By default, the scraper prompts for your login details and then downloads and prints the Spots as a CSV. The session is saved for later reuse.

To download the Spots as a GPX, use:

$ bmw-motorrad-mileage-scraper --format gpx > bmw_mileage_rally_2026_spots.gpx

Development
